DJ Heavy was brought up in a musically-inclined household, so it was no surprise when he was captivated by DJs from Philadelphia like Cosmic Kev, Doc B, Jazzy Jeff, and DJ AM. His enthusiasm for music eventually resulted in him creating his own signature sound, edits, and technique of mixing.
